The company has implemented ‘Wind Energy Project’ for captive consumption having total installed capacity of 3.25 MW. The project was executed in two phases. In the 1st phase, 8 machines of 250 KW each, totaling 2 MW capacity were installed in March 2011 and in the 2nd Phase, further 5 machines each of 250 KW capacity were commissioned in June 2011. The windmill machines have been installed at Kotdapitha Village, Amreli District of Gujarat. The total cost of the project was around Rs. 16 Crores, which was part financed by our existing bankers through term loans. The total output of these machines is being utilized for a captive use of the existing manufacturing plant.
